Privacy Policy

aTask (the “Service”) is a shared task-list application provided by Anicca26 (“we”, “us”). This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Account information — your email address and a password hash, used solely to sign you in. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
  • Content you create — list names, task titles, tags, and check-off status. This is stored in Google Cloud Firestore.
  • Sharing data— when you share a list with someone, we store their email address (until they accept the invite, at which point we store their account’s user ID instead) so they can collaborate on the list.

We do not collect location data, device identifiers, contacts, advertising IDs, or analytics. We do not embed third-party trackers.

How we use it

Your data is used only to provide the Service: signing you in, showing your lists and tasks, and synchronizing them across members of a shared list. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing.

Where it’s stored

All data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Google. See Firebase Privacy and Security for details.

Who can see your data

Only you can see your private lists. Members of a shared list can see that list’s tasks, the email addresses of other members, and who created each task. We (Anicca26) have administrative access for the purpose of providing and supporting the Service, but do not access user content except as needed to investigate reported issues or comply with law.

Your choices

  • You can delete individual lists and tasks at any time from within the app.
  • You can leave a shared list at any time, which removes your membership immediately.
  • You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from inside the app: open Settings → Delete account, confirm with your password, and your account, the lists you own (and their tasks), and your profile mirror are removed immediately. You’ll be removed from any shared lists you joined but don’t own; those lists continue to exist for the other members. If you prefer, you can instead email alina@anicca26.com from the address on the account and we’ll delete it within 30 days.

Children

aTask is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
